“I think it would be very appropriate, IF you give us an explanation of everything that’s happened in Equestria recently,” Ben Zane said. “DARK DIAMOND, WHY,” I asked, “WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS AND ABUSE ME FOR ALL THOSE MOONS, BEFORE YOU LEFT ME ON THAT ISLAND??!?!! WHY DID YOU JOIN MEPHILES INTO HARMING MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY?????!!!!!” Dark Diamond gave a small smug on his face, “If you want the whole truth Ben and Cadenza,” he said, “Then let me show and tell you everything, while Mephiles explains a few more of the details.” “As you wish,” Mephiles replied and he began his story, “As you can tell, I was ONCE a Changeling, just like Queen Chrysalis. Once, I had my own kingdom, BEFORE Shining’s older brother, Bright Sun, came, and I gained a great popularity from other Changelings, as well as Chrysalis, who helped me gain that goal.” “Where was your original kingdom,” I asked, “I thought that the Shadow Kingdom was your first.”
“THAT wasn’t my first,” Mephiles replied, “Instead, my real first kingdom was in an alternate universe, instead of your world in Equestria. Back in my world, Chrysalis was my wife and helped me gain what I needed. But, it all changed when a destructive maelstrom struck at my world and kingdom, which lead to my changelings getting sucked into portals that lead into alternate worlds and were also killed by the damage the storm was doing to them. I tried to stop them, but it was too late, I got sucked into one of the portals and the wind was too strong, which lead me into your world known as Equestria. I found myself near the Crystal Empire, when the Empire’s corrupted ruler, King Sombra, was dueling against Princess Celestia and Luna, before he was banished for a thousand moons, along with the Empire. However, some of his magic soon spread to some parts outside of the Empire with his dark crystals. I attempted to use my magic to rebel against them, but they were too strong to handle and I tried to fly away from them, it was already too late.”
“As soon as the dark crystals caught me,” Mephiles continued, “I froze inside the dark crystal, cursed by King Sombra’s magic and remained there, until many moons later.” “Why did you stay there for many moons,” asked Ben Zane, “Couldn’t you have been more powerful enough to break through the ice, keeping you alive, while you were in a deep frozen sleep.” “ISN’T IT OBVIOUS,” shouted Mephiles, “I WAS ALREADY UNDER A COMA, DUE TO THE COLD, YOU FOAL!!!!!!!!” “Oh, right,” I said. “Now,” started Dark Diamond, “It’s time I share my own side of the story. When I was a colt, I used to be a student of Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, just like your, former, sister-in-law, Twilight Sparkle. I was very proud of it and was determined to show off my magic and the way I see the ruling of Equestria, ‘My Way’!”
“I would occasionally show off,” continued Dark Diamond, “Determined to be superior to the other students because I thought that those who are better than other ponies shall die or be removed from history. As well as others who are unimportant and unlikable to me. Sadly, this lead me into me getting expelled from my studies of Friendship, thanks to Celestia. I was so enraged by it that I decided to leave Equestria, forever, and start my OWN life somewhere else, FAR AWAY from Equestria where no pony from the mainland can stop me from pursuing what I WANT TO GAIN!!! So, I fled to the Isle of Menn, where it was once had a peaceful village, where I can show what friendship really meant to me. I decided to have a wife, where I could have foals, but there was ANOTHER pony that wanted the wife I wanted. The mare I dated was named Gleaming Amory and that pony who wanted her as well as YOU, BEN ZANE!!!”
“WHAT, ME,” exclaimed Ben Zane, “I WANTED TO DATE A MARE THAT YOU DATED?????!!!!” “Apparently, so,” Dark Diamond replied, “We fought to get her and the one colt that one WAS YOU!!!!! AS SOON AS YOU MARRIED HER, MANY MOONS LATER, ALL I WANTED TO DO IS GET HER BACK AND FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU NEVER EXISTED, SO THAT GLEAMING AMORY COULD BELONG TO ME AND ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn’t long when your first foal was born, which was actually Cadence/Mi Amore Cadenza, the REAL YOU, CADENCE!!!!!” “That–that’s just impossible,” I said, “I remember being born here on the Isle of Menn and Lab #29!!!” “Says the one who was already dead for over thirty moons,” said Dark Diamond. “‘Already dead’,” I asked, “What do you mean?”
“Well, one day,” Dark Diamond continued, “Ben Zane, Gleaming Amory, and you were at the beach for a holiday and I was keeping an eye on you three, secretly, while I disguised myself as a holidaymaker. You were having a lot of fun swimming by the seaside, since you were a little filly after all. But, the fun would soon be over when a lifeguard reported that there were sharks swimming near the beach and ordered everypony to get away from the water as quickly as possible. However, you, Cadence, were already far away out on the ocean and as Ben and Amory tried to warn you to swim away from the sharks immediately, it was too late. The sharks already bit parts of your body and as the lifeguard swam you to safety, you were already dead, with one of your hooves, wings, and legs being chopped off with blood everywhere. Ben Zane and Amory were mortified over this and took your body to the lab that you see today in the Lab #29, since he was a scientist after all and Amory was one of his colleagues in the science field. He decided to perform an experiment on you and King Mephiles’ body inside the crystal, that was collected by Ben to be a part of the experiment.”
“An experiment,” I asked, puzzled. “Have you ever wondered how you got that incredible long mane to begin with and how you ended up in Lab #29,” asked a sarcastic Dark Diamond, “Ben Zane was trying to revive you, by switching bodies with a machine. But, Mephiles’ dark-possessed soul by Sombra would be too dangerous to work during the resurrection process, which gave me an idea on how to kill Ben Zane and get Gleaming Amory back!! I sneaked inside the labs, that night, when nobody was around, in order to sabotage the project and kill Ben Zane. But, unbeknownst to me that it would turn out to change my life, forever! The day the experiment happened, things were turning out well, I was waiting for the Lab to explode. As soon as I saw Gleaming Amory go inside the Lab #29, I soon realized that she was going to be helping with the experiment and I wanted to keep her alive.”
“Did you try to stop it,” I asked. “I tried to,” Dark Diamond went on, “But, as soon as Lab #29 exploded, it was already too late. Ben Zane’s head was hit really hard that he was knocked unconscious and his eye was nearly burnt, Gleaming Amory was dead, and Mephiles’ soul was ready to be unleashed and already escaped. However, your new body was almost dead and I made sure that you would be a perfect key to help avenge Gleaming Amory and be strong enough to help me fight against Ben Zane, when he would ever wake up and get revenge. I decided to revive you again and train you, but as soon as you kept failing and lost your memory, I thought of the one thing that could help get my wife back, King Mephiles’ soul.” “So, that’s why abandoned me,” I realized, “You wanted to find King Mephiles and join his army to make sure that he would help you get revenge on Ben Zane and Celestia.” “Precisely,” Mephiles said, “But, in order to get my body back, I needed him to help me steal everypony’s souls to be more powerful enough to get my own life back, since a ghost who steals souls needs enough souls to get his or her life BACK!!!!!!”
“I–I can’t believe that…I’M A CHANGELING,” I exclaimed, “AND I’M NOT THE REAL CADENCE AND ME AND BEN ZANE WERE RELATED!!!!!!!!!” “IT CAN’T BE,” said Ben Zane, horrified, “YOU ABANDONED HER FOR KING MEPHILES???????!!!!!!!!” “That’s right,” said Dark Diamond, “But, in order to continue our goal, I need to help him destroy the one thing that is foolish enough to stop us, YOU TWO, OF COURSE!!!” After that, Dark Diamond used his magic to weaken us both, while Mephiles began to use his strength to steal our souls. I tried to fight back, but, Diamond’s magic was too strong for me and Ben Zane to handle. We were already too late when Mephiles took away our souls and we went inside his misty ghost, realizing that we were already too late to stop him and save our friends, family, and most of all, the whole land of Equestria.

Ever since, he’s been getting praise for all the fans and followers on his blog and people who check them out, which lead us into reaching our “100TH EPISODE/REVIEW”!!!!!

THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: Relax, guys! It’s probably just another cameo of “Star Wars” characters, just like in my “Return of Harmony” review.
DISCORD: *POOF!* Oh, no! It’s more than that, it belongs to the Mormenian kind and there’s some-sort-of-space station with a large cannon connected to it that may impact the Earth!!
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: WHAT?! YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS??!!! I THOUGHT THAT THE MORMENIANS WERE DEFEATED, AS WELL AS ALCROX!!
SHINING ARMOR: You mean, “Alrox”?

SHINING ARMOR: Well, it appears that they may have one last trick up their sleeves, by sending an army or that big space station to destroy the Earth!!

THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: Anyways, while we go an form an army to fight back and destroy that space station, it’s time we go and review “The Cutie Re-Mark”!! This episode came out yesterday on November 28, 2015 and was (like most Season Premieres and Finales) split into two parts on the very same day on the Discovery Family Channel. Now, many people, including myself, were excited for this episode, ever since a animatic clip of the beginning was shown at SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) because it marks the return of the Season 5 premiere antagonist, Starlight Glimmer. Really though, Starlight is thus far one of the series’ best villains of all-time because of many reasons!!! She’s manipulative, sneaky, communist, scheming, and very smart, secretly, while she pretends to be kind and friendly, which block her real colors from being shown. What will she do to get revenge on the Mane Six from foiling her plans from earlier this season, you’re about to find out!! Let’s watch the long-awaited finale that has finally arrived, “The Cutie Re-Mark”!!!
So, we start off this episode at Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns in Canterlot, where Princess Twilight Sparkle (“Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle”– forget it) is practicing an upcoming assembly, where she’ll give out a speech that she’s going to host at the School with her cards, while Spike the Dragon is watching, while being bored by it. Later, the assembly starts and we get a brief nutshell of how the Mane Six got their cutie marks, which is “The Cutie Mark Chronicles” from Season 1 in a nutshell. For those of you who have not being paying attention for all those years, here’s how each of the Mane Six got their cutie marks in the Season 1 flashback.:
But, I digress, while Twilight gives out her cutie mark history lecture to the audience, she gets a glimpse of Starlight Glimmer, spying on her, before she looks again and notices that Starlight mysteriously disappeared. After the assembly, Twilight and Spike go back to Ponyville and they talk about Starlight’s strange appearance that occurred during that particular scene. Spike concludes that Starlight might be returning to get revenge on the Mane Six, after they foiled her plans from the Season 5 premiere and helped Starlight’s (brainwashed) villagers get their cutie marks back from being “equal”. However, they both dismiss the idea, until they go back to Twilight’s castle and into the Map Room, where Starlight Glimmer is waiting for them. Starlight them uses her magic to cast a spell on a scroll, which causes the Castle Map of Equestria to change. She then uses it to teleport through a portal and disappear, much to Twilight and Spike’s shock.
Spike then attempt to grab the scroll Starlight used to go through the portal, before the map creates ANOTHER portal that sucks Twilight and Spike in and travel back into the past, during the moment at the Cloudsdale Summer Flight Camp, when Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom caused the Mane Six to get their cutie marks. After Twilight reads the scroll Spike has, she realizes that it’s actually another spell belonging to Starswirl the Bearded, which involves time travel. Well, at least it’d better be epic than “It’s About Time”, even though it was a pretty decent episode, but looks like the audience already knows what Starlight’s up to, since it was leaked in the episode description. So–:
“It’s This One” indeed, Twilight! “Travel Back In Time So That The Mane Six Won’t Get Their Cutie Marks, So That She Can Have Her Village The Way She Wanted To And Her Plans Work, Scot-Free”!!!! So, Twilight and Spike decide to watch the race between Rainbow Dash and the bullies that caused the Rainboom. But, things go from bad to worse when Starlight uses her magic once again to stop Rainbow’s filly-self with a freezing spell, which causes one of the bullies to win the race, and the Mane Six’s younger selves to not get their cutie marks, at all. This causes another portal to divert our two heroes into Ponyville/Equestria in an apocalypse-like state, which means that it’s in the future. They also find that the map and the thrones are with them, not to mention the Equestrian map is screwed up. Wow, this gives me “Fallout” and “Fallout: Equestria” flashbacks, even though I’ve never read “Fallout: Equestria” and I’ve only heard bits and pieces of it, as well as that comic dub about Little Pip that goes like this.:
Anyways, Twilight and Spike explore the futuristic-apocalypse-like-Ponyville, that is now left in a ruined state. There are even things that aren’t in their own time in the normal present; such as Sugarcube Corner being replaced by a bread bakery and Sweet Apple Acres is now an industrial farm that looks more like a factory to me, which (of course) is causing the sky to change into what you would normally see in a pollution and stuff that involves the apocalypse. As they watch (bad future) Sweet Apple Acres being busy, (bad future) Applejack arrives outside, who (just to clarify, since Starlight messed with the timeline here) doesn’t recognize them. She doesn’t even know about the rest of the Mane Six, such as Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, except for Rarity, who is involved in something called “The Cause”, which is actually a war between King Sombra (the antagonist from Season 3 premiere, “The Crystal Empire”) and his army from the Crystal Empire that has been corrupted again, much to Twilight and Spike’s (again) shock. Twilight attempts to explain the situation to Applejack, before taking her to the Map, where we get more info about “The Cause” in this messed-up future-Equestria. It turns out when the Crystal Empire returned, King Sombra returned as well, turned his kingdom into chaos once again, and used his subjects to serve in his army of brainwashed-minions into fighting back against Princess Celestia and her army of royal guards.
We then see a fight between Celestia and King Sombra’s armies, which also shows a glimpse of future Rainbow Dash (with mechanical wings), Pinkie, and Maud Pie. This forced everypony in Equestria to help out with the battle to do their duty, work all day and night-long, and help fight back.:
Indeed, the war between King Sombra and Celestia/Equestria is more or less an Equestrian version of World War II, but without Adolf Hitler and his German Nazis and the Japanese army. After AJ’s lecture, she gets back to Sweet Apple Acres, while Twilight uses the Equestrian Map and Starswirl’s spell that Starlight altered to go back and stop Starlight from changing the past for the second time. But, as soon as they get back to the past, Starlight uses a spell to freeze our heroes in a crystal-like spell and explains what her plan is. She plans to send herself back-in-time, in order to change the past, even though Twilight attempts to stop her, Starlight will continue to get sent back to the past. If that happens, then Starlight will– You already get the rest. After she finishes her explanation, Starlight then taps on the crystal trapping our heroes inside, causing it to fall off of a cloud, keeping them afloat, and fall off and nearly into their deaths. But, luckily, Twilight uses her magic to break the crystal and set her and Spike free and they continue to look for Starlight in another attempt to stop her from continuing her plans.
But, they find Starlight, talking to Fluttershy’s younger self and the bullies about “anti-bullying” because of her conspiracy theories that “Everypony Must Be Equal”. Twilight tries to stop it from happening, but to no avail, before going to Rainbow Dash’s younger form, who is conveniently flying by, instead of being at the race that was supposed to be in the correct timeline. I have to admit, it is a pretty funny scene here.:
As you can tell, young RD learned about “Stranger Danger”, meaning that you shouldn’t talk or take things from strangers. As you can tell from the clip I place in here, one of Twilight’s plan to stop Starlight by talking to young RD fails. As Starlight taunts her, Twilight and Spike get sucked by ANOTHER portal that leads to ANOTHER FUTURE, but now takes place in the Everfree Forest!!!!! It also includes Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in a tribe lead by Zecora, who accuse our heroes of being spies for Queen Chrysalis and her Changeling army, which concludes Part 1! After the–

THE REVIEW MASTER (PRESENT): *Sigh* Yes. Yes, I do. Her name is Rosie Bernstein, while my REAL name is Trevor. Trevor Bernstein. Before I met you, my older sister, Rosie, was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. We didn’t have enough money to help her get cured and I wanted to because she took care of me, after my parents got killed in a car crash when I was 10 years old. I decided to make my OWN blog in order to raise money for Rosie’s breast cancer.
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: Why didn’t you set up your own account that helps fight for cancer, like those other Youtubers who did?
THE REVIEW MASTER (PRESENT): You see, Detective. My computer was very, very old and didn’t have a good internet connection with other websites, except for mine. I even tried to advertise about helping me raise more money to help my sister, but ALL that changed, when you came along as “The Detective Librarian” AND TOOK AWAY ALL THOSE FANS FROM ME!!!! As time went by and your first few days on my blog came, I started to get less attention and enough money to help and I thought that things couldn’t get any more worse than this! But, I was wrong, a few months after 2015 started, Rosie’s condition began to worsen and she died on February 28, 2015, as a result. I decided to help get a backup plan, by doing charities, asking my horrible-relatives to help, and buckets for money, but THEY DIDN’T WORK EITHER!!! By now, I REALLY WANTED TO GET RID OF THE ONE THING THAT RUINED MY LIFE AND CAUSED BY ONE AND ONLY SISTER WHO EVEN CARED ABOUT ME IN MY FAMILY, ROSIE BERNSTEIN, BUT YOU TOOK THAT MONEY THAT COULD ONLY SAVE HER LIFE AWAY FROM ME AND YOU STARTED TO GET MORE PRAISE THAN I DID, BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡

THE REVIEW MASTER (PRESENT): *Sigh* Fine. Let’s go inside one of the escape pods!!
-One of the Ship’s Escape Pods-
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: Now, while we get inside the Space Station, let’s continue our review of “The Cutie Re-Mark” Part 2!
So, we begin part 2 of our story when we get introduced to future/alternate Zecora. She decides to make sure that our heroes aren’t Changelings in disguise, by using a facepaint-thingy on them, which makes them the tribe’s own. We get explained why Ponyville is in the Everfree Forest; it’s because Chrysalis and her Changelings dominated Equestria and Zecora and her tribe have been forced to build their own sanctuary in the Forest, in order to hide from the EVIL Changelings. After Twilight tells Zecora about the situation with Starlight Glimmer and her plan to alter the past, Zecora shows a little lecture to her about how time can affect things in life, like a stream. It’s more like a video game to me, when you make a mistake, you have to go back and try and try again, until you give up and do something else, when it’s “Game Over”!!!! As our heroes explore the sanctuary, out of nowhere, the alternate/future versions of Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack pop out of the bushes in fear and tell Zecora that the Changelings invaded Ponyville.
But, Zecora suddenly knows that they’re actually changelings in disguise, including (YOU GUESSED IT, EVERYBODY) Queen Chrysalis!!!!!!!:
I know!! FINALLY, EVEN THOUGH SHE APPEARED IN THE IDW COMICS, CHRYSALIS FINALLY RETURNS TO THE TV SERIES AFTER THREE SEASONS OF ABSCENCE, BABY!!!!!!!!!! 😀 As you’d expect, Chrysalis and her Changelings reveal their true forms and send their army of OTHER Changelings to attack the sanctuary and stop Zecora and her tribes’ rebellion against her. As Zecora and her tribe attempt to fight back against the Changeling attack, Twilight and Spike run away from the fight and attempt to get back to the Map to stop Starlight for the fourth time, while being chased by a group of Changelings. The Map sends our two heroes back to the past, where get a pretty epic fight between Twilight and Starlight.:
Well, it’s a good thing that the fight between Twilight and Tirek is more epic than this in “Twilight’s Kingdom”. After the fight, Twilight and Spike get sent back to–:
–ANOTHER FUTURE IN THE EVERFREE FOREST!!! However, it’s at night and for those of you who have seen the VERY first episode of the series, it’s possibly Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon ruling Equestria. They’re about to find out right about now, when a bunch of Timberwolves pop up and chase after our heroes and into a restored version of the Castle of the Two Sisters. But, when they get inside the Castle of the Two Sisters, they find out that Rarity is working for Nightmare Moon as her servant, while Rainbow Dash is one of NN’s guards in Nightmare Moon’s bad future. Wow, two characters in the show voiced by Tabitha St. Germain working together as villains, instead of allies?:
Also, instead of Nightmare Moon/Princess Luna being banished to the moon, Princess Celestia has been banished to the moon, instead. Wow, couldn’t this episode get any more crazier than this???!! But, you’ll wait and see, later. 😉 So, Nightmare Moon demands Twilight to tell her about the time-traveling spell Starlight created or else, they’ll be sentenced to get thrown in the dungeon. Twilight now tells her about how it’s run, including the Map as a time machine, before she explains about the events of Nightmare Moon in her own time and uses the Map to have her and Spike escape and figure out another way to prevent Starlight from continuing her evil scheme. But, as they attempt to stop her with a crystal spell, Starlight breaks out and continues her plan, while sending Twilight and Spike into different futures of other villains of the series, such as Tirek, Discord (OF COURSE), and the Flim Flam Brothers/The “Cheap Skate” Brothers. Wow, I’m surprise they didn’t include Gilda, Trixie, Sunset Shimmer, and the Dazzlings/Sirens (from “Rainbow Rocks”).
After this, Twilight meets up with Starlight and admits that she can’t stop Starlight from altering the past and the future. She tells her that the more this goes on, it’ll last forever and if she attempts to change the pasts, it may negatively effect the future. Starlight, however, doesn’t buy Twilight’s lesson and as she uses her magic (ONCE AGAIN) to keep filly RD in the wrong direction during her race with the bullies, another time portal opens up and Twilight decides it’s finally time to show her what the future will be if Starlight keeps doing it for the rest of her life and if Twilight never saved Equestria many times, as well as move to Ponyville. The future they come across is actually a desert that is more or less the apocalypse, again, and as Twilight tells about the adventure and how showing it will hopefully change Starlight’s mind, Starlight begins to get more angry than ever. She yells at Twilight because she never knew about Starlight and the reason why she thought that “equality” and removing cutie marks were essential for friendship. Starlight uses the Map to travel back to when she was younger, which is FINALLY explanation of why Starlight became a bad guy and wanted to remove everypony’s cutie marks and talents, while building her village in the desert from earlier this season.
Many years/moons before the series begins, Starlight Glimmer used to live in a village and once had a colt-friend named Sunburst. Sunburst and Starlight were BFF’s and they never were separated throughout their entire life, but it all changed when one day, they were stacking up a tower of books to the ceiling like dominoes. But, when Starlight removed one of the books (probably for re-shelving and similarity to “Jenga”), the entire book tower collapsed and nearly hit her, until Sunburst used her magic to stop the books from toppling down. This caused him to get his cutie mark and all the books to get shelved in their proper places, get sent to Canterlot as a special pony with his talent, while Starlight was left behind and never saw her friend or made new ones again, ever since. Why: Because Starlight never got her own cutie mark, Sunburst had his cutie mark and moved on, except for her, and Starlight was worried that if she made a new friend, a cutie mark might take the friendship away from her and another friend. Okay, look, you guys might think it’s dumb, but think about it, other people might get jealous over their friend getting a new talent and all the attention, while the other person didn’t and was worried that if he/she made another friend, the same process would continue again. But, it’s a good way to explain why Starlight thought of those conspiracy theories and became both a ponified version of Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler.
After Starlight shows our heroes her dark past, she teleports them and herself back to the past, when Rainbow as a filly raced, created the Sonic Rainboom, and caused the Mane Six to get their cutie marks. She decides the only way to stop Twilight from attempting to prevent her from continuing her plans, by ripping apart the scroll of the spell that allows them to travel back at anytime. As she does so–

KING ORKENIA (SPEAKING ALIEN): *Turns Around His Chair Throne* Welcome, Detective and welcome, Review Master. I’ve been expecting you, ever since I’ve heard about you two and how you were involved in stopping our last project to end all human life on Earth and change them into US!!!!
THE REVIEW MASTER (PRESENT): Uh, I was expecting you to be a high and mighty alien, instead of a tiny alien. Unlike Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine/the Emperor from “Star Wars”.
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: Come on, Review Master– I mean, Trevor!! He was probably born this way.
KING ORKENIA (SPEAKING ALIEN): Anyways. *Ahem* In order to eliminate humanity, our new law is that whenever we capture human beings, they have to fight each other, until they die. IF one of them dies, the winner shall be exterminated.
ALROX: What he means is that whoever wins in a battle of wits shall die. If the two humans battling each other get killed, then that’s the end of it, it’s our new way of destroying all humans, instead of converting them to our own.
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: A BATTLE OF WITS???!!! Did you two just make a reference to the sixth “Star Wars” episode, “Return of the Jedi”? I have a review to do, so, I have to continue. PLEASE!!! DO THIS FOR THE FANS!!!!
KING ORKENIA (SPEAKING ALIEN): *Whispers in Alrox’s Ear*
ALROX: He says, “Fine”, you can continue.
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: YES!!
Back to the story, Twilight confronts and tells Starlight that she didn’t know how much Starlight suffered during her childhood and convinces her that she can’t do this anymore because of how it will effect the future. She also tells her that she can make new friends and if there’s something outside her experience, she can solve it with her friend together, which is what friendship REALLY is about. Twilight offers her to give friendship a chance, but Starlight Glimmer refuses and we get an epic battle to the death once again that messes up the timeline and– No, no, wait, THAT would be the GREATER ENDING!!!!!! Instead, Starlight Glimmer, at last, sees the error of her ways and finally accepts Twilight’s offer to give friendship a chance, allowing Rainbow Dash’s first Rainboom to happen and have the Mane Six’s younger selves each get their own cutie marks. After this, the final time portal sends our heroes and Starlight back home to their own time, while the spell’s scroll gets sent away, never to be seen again. This causes Equestria to turn back to normal, as well as her friends, who show up and end up get disgusted when they see Starlight, but Twilight tells them about what the episode(s)’s events and Starlight’s past. After their discussion, Twilight tells Starlight about the negative results of a fallout between friendship and instead of punishing her (which would be better), they decide to give her another chance by having Starlight as Twilight’s student to learn more about friendship and the Mane Six (including Spike) are her early start for new friends.
This leads into the one (and the episode’s only song/cheap way to end this episode and this great season) song that we have to do called “Friends Are Always There For You”about how Starlight’s life changed when she lost her first friend and became evil, until she was reformed. During the song, she goes to the Village and apologizes to her villagers for all the things she did to them and at first, they (of course) abhor her presence, until they decide to forgive her for her mistakes. She also is seen hanging out and having fun with the Mane Six and you’ve gotta have another way to end this season, by showing a photo of everybody in Ponyville (including the background characters) and even the Mane Six and Starlight. Now, that was a bit anti-climatic, but it’s still a good ending to a really good episode!!!
KING ORKENIA (SPEAKING ALIEN LANGUAGE): Now that that’s done, it’s time to fight!!

THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: TREVOR!! CAN YOU HEAR ME??!!! I NEED TO TAKE YOU TO A HOSPITAL AND FAST, BEFORE THE ENTIRE PLACE COLLAPSES WITH US ON IT!!!
THE REVIEW MASTER/TREVOR BERNSTEIN (PRESENT) (DYING): Detective….I’ve seen this episode and I have to admit, it was a really…Good..Conclusion to a really excellent. Season. 5!! What…Do you think? *Heavy Breathing*
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: I have to admit, the ending to this episode was really unexpected and Starlight Glimmer reforming was a little bit anti-climatic and I have to agree with ToonKriticY2K that it could’ve been better. But, overall, this episode was really good to a really fantastic season that has been a MUCH better improvement over the last two seasons!!! It really answers the questions bronies like us have been asking and the theories we’ve been wondering about, such as what would happen if Twilight never moved to Ponyville, befriended the Mane Six, saved Equestria a dozen times, and even became an Alicorn Princess of Friendship. Also, Starlight Glimmer is still a great villain, but, I would agree that I would’ve preferred her sacrificing herself or being erased from existence (like in “The Flash” from CW), but, I’m still happy over what we got. The animation is still great, the action was well-done, the humor is funny as always, and I do like how ALL the series’ villains returned in the bad futures, such as Chrysalis, King Sombra, Nightmare Moon/Luna, Discord (even though he’s a recurring character), and even Tirek. Hopefully, the next time we have a season-long villain, he/she won’t be reformed and may still go where the villain wants to go until that same villain’s plans are foiled.
Other than that, this episode was really solid, even if it wasn’t as good as the last season finale, “Twilight’s Kingdom”, (which is STILL ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES OF ALL TIME). The animation was great as always, the humor was good, it’s nice to see villains, such as Tirek and Chrysalis again, and the action was really well done. Despite some issues that needed to be changed, I first gave it a 9.5/10, but it’s now an 8.5/10, now. My thoughts on Season 5 are that I thought it was a HUMONGOUS step-up from the two previous and has become one of my favorites so far. The animation is getting better, the writing has improved, the jokes and references are getting a LOT better, and most of the episodes and songs were really fantastic (even if some weren’t and were okay). Since I gave this episode an 8.5/10, I’ll be giving this season a 9/10 for such a HUGE improvement after “Two Strikes and a Homerun” for the series. There, those are my thoughts on this episode and Season 5 itself.

He began as a normal man named Trevor Bernstein, who lost his parents when he was really young and his sister, Rosie, took care of him ever since. But, she would be diagnosed with breast cancer years later when they grew older and Trevor created “The Review Master” to help raise money for his sister. Until, I came along and people started following me instead, which made him angry about it and his anger grew and grew, when Rosie passed away months later. At first, I thought that our conflict between me and his organization known as “The Hunters” would never end, until Review Master died, but, I was the one that created this conflict in the first place. It all changed when I learned about how he officially came to be a few days ago and he learned that you don’t need to eliminate everything that is negative to your life and all you need to do is face them with confidence and a kind spirit. It’s time that we finish what we started by helping raise money for his sister’s hospital that is still going bankrupt and we have to give the kindness he gave, after sacrificing himself to save me by destroying the ruler of the Mormenian kind. Hello, I’m The Detective Librarian and today guess what, TODAY IS THE ANNIVERSARY OF WHEN I FIRST STARTED MY BLOG!!!!:
I KNOW, when I first started, I had no idea in what I was in for!! At first, I was worried on how other people would react to my writing and certain opinions and when I first posted my VERY first review on November 29, 2014 of “LEGO City: Undercover”, to an extend, it worked. Ever since then, I’ve posted many reviews of things I’ve seen and bought that I like, have mixed feelings about, dislike, and despise the most, such as “MLP: FIM”, “Thomas & Friends” seasons and specials, “The Middle” (AKA “BULLSHEEP”), “Arrow”, “Flash”, various Disney movies, “Spongebob”, etc… I’ve even posted “Top Lists”, “Comparisons”, and wrote two fan-fics (one I’m currently still working on) and they’ve ALL received a great reception over the months and this last year. I’ve been inspired by many people that I’ve seen, such as arglefumph/Michael Gray, Nostalgia Critic, FanboyFlicks, ToonKriticY2K, Tines Sensahthe, Enterprisingengine93, missoliverandblossom/DaWillstanator, and many more!!! As time went on, my writing began to feel more of an arglefumph-style, until as the months pass, I began to change it into something that’s fresh to me and mostly similar to other reviewers and their style of writing. I’ve really been improving, since the last year and I can really say “Thank You” to those who have followed me after ALL this time!!
Again, before we go, I would like to say is “Thank You” for those who have followed me for all those months and this one year. After all this time, I would never have imagined on how many people have praised my writing, which inspired me to become a writer and it was starting to improve (A LOT) with funnier jokes, fresh thoughts, and original characters that I’ve come up with or even inspired from others!!! As soon as I regained consciousness, I began coughing and gasping for air due to the salty water from the ocean. “Ugh,” I groaned, “Where am I?” I then looked around and realized where I was. This must be the island I was born in, I thought, ‘The Isle of Menn’!!! Just then, I noticed Ben Zane, lying on the beach near the ocean, without his eye-patch that was swept away into the sea, when Mephiles’ dark spirit attacked us during our escape from the Vancouver bay. I checked his heart, but didn’t hear a beat. “Oh, Mother of Luna,” I gasped, “BEN ZANE, NO!!!!”
Luckily, I knew what to do, by performing CPR on Ben Zane, multiple times, until he woke up, gasping for air. “Oh, thank Celestia, you’re alive,” I exclaimed with a mixture of both fear and relief. “I know, Your Majesty,” replied Ben Zane, “But, where are we anyway?” I told about how I remembered that this was the Isle of Menn, the one land where I was created, lived with Dark Diamond, and desperate for answers on why Dark Diamond was cruel to me throughout my entire filly life and prevented me from going inside Lab #29. “You know,” continued Ben Zane, “The Isle of Menn still feels very familiar to me, now that you mention and think about it.” “I know, Ben,” I replied, “I know. But, we better get moving because Mephiles might be coming for us at any moment because I think I see him in the black mist in the distance!” “Right,” Ben Zane replied, “Let’s go!!”
After that, we raced to find some shelter on the Island as quickly as possible, while exploring the Island, after being left in a long time. Later, we came across a mountain with a building that had a roof, which looked like it was destroyed somehow. “That’s my old home,” I said, “Where Lab #29 is!! We can hide there!!!” Ben Zane, however, wasn’t very sure about hiding there would be a good idea. “Well,” he said, “Since this is the only place for shelter on the Island, I guess I’ll have to agree with you, sort of.” As I was about to take the conveniently placed steps that led to the Labs, until Ben Zane stopped me.
“Wait a minute,” he said, “You’re an Alicorn Princess, meaning that YOU HAVE THE WINGS OF A PEGASUS!! Why not fly to the labs, instead of taking the long way, while you carry me?! That would be much easier, but a bit longer too, unless if I fell off and cause you to struggle up to the mountain, no offense.” “Is THAT a fat joke,” I asked, offended. “NO”, Ben Zane answered. “Alright, hold on, Ben,” I replied. Ben then held onto me, before I flew over the stairs and into the top of the mountain, where we went inside the building.
I luckily used my magic from my horn to light the dark ways like a torch, since Ben Zane’s horn was broken in half and he could use some parts of magic, but not plenty of magic, while the power was out in some areas. But, while we were trying to explore the dark labs, the sudden coldness of Mephiles’ spirit began to appear, which meant signs that King Mephiles was near us. Hopefully, I thought, while shivering, We can make it out, alive and quickly. Suddenly, we hit a dead end in-front of us and two doors in the dark hallway, which lead to Lab #29. “This is it,” I muttered, “The one place that I’ve always wanted to go inside, ‘Lab #29′, the one place where I was created. I HAVE to go inside and find out all the answers that haven’t been solved for all those moons!” As I attempted to go inside, Ben Zane grabbed onto and stopped me.
“Hold it, Princess,” he snapped, “You can’t just let your curiosity get the better of you!! There’s a hole on the roof of Lab #29, that means that somepony working for Mephiles could catch us and send Mephiles here to kill us!! Think about it, I know you’re going through an identity crisis, while I’m going amnesia. But, what if you’re fine just the way you are, even IF you’re not somepony or SOMETHING else and if you’re trying to find who you really are, you’re still the one pony that Celestia, Twilight, Shining Armor, and your other friends and relatives have recognized, while they were still alive. The Princess of Love and Co-Ruler of the Crystal Empire that was born to spread love across Equestria that has saved this land from certain doom before, but we might this time, when we figure out a way to destroy the Alcrox Amulet, without getting our lives from being claimed by it and Mephiles’ Angered Soul.” “But, what if Mephiles’ goal was something that made me different, instead of the REAL me,” I asked. “It doesn’t matter,” Ben Zane interrupted, “I like you for who you are and before I met you, I felt like I had nopony to be friends with, until now and I’m glad you’re here to help me define who I really am, which made me realize that it’s important to have a friend to help me, when I need help.”
“You see,” Ben Zane continued, “You’re okay for the way you are. Even if you worry too much, you’re still a heroic Princess of Love that has saved loved ones before, which shows what love really means, looking out for one another like a family.” He then gave a soft smile on his face, while I decided that maybe Ben was right, I was doubting myself too much and forgot who I really was. “You know what,” I began, “You’re right, Ben. I’m fine just the way I am and..Thank you, I guess I really just forgot in who I was. Let’s get out of here and find a different place to hide,” but then, came trouble, when we were surrounded by Mephiles’ dark misty soul. “There you are, Mi Amore Cadenza, or should I say, one of my many subjects that I need for my LIFE,” Mephiles said coldly.
“Mephiles, WHAT DO YOU NEED,” I demanded, “I NEED TO KNOW!!! WHY ARE YOU STEALING THE SOULS OF MY FRIENDS, CIVILIANS, AND MOST OF ALL, MY FAMILY?????!!!!!” “Quick, get inside Lab #29, HURRY,” Ben Zane shouted as he dragged me inside, but only to be cornered face-to-face with a cloaked figure. “IT’S YOU,” I said, “WHO ARE YOU AND WHY DID YOU HELP MEPHILES ATTACK SHINING ARMOR AND KILL CELESTIA AND LUNA????!!!!!” “Oh, my dear, sweet Cadence,” said the figure, “This is all part of Mephiles’ plan to take your body and use it for his own good, in order to be resurrected back from the dead. But, there is more to Mephiles than you and your allies once knew.” He then took off the hood of his cloak and revealed his true face and body.
“Remember me, Cadence and Ben Zane,” he said. “DARK DIAMOND,” gasped and exclaimed me and Ben Zane, “I knew it was you all along,” I said. “I even told Twilight about it and if anything happens to us, she’ll know you are responsible for that and all those ponies’ deaths!!!” “Oh, there’s more to that plan than you think,” Mephiles said, darkly, “I WANT YOUR BODY BECAUSE IT WAS ONCE MINE!!!!!” He then showed two test-tubes that showed both names that shocked me and Ben Zane; they had the names “The King Mephiles of the Changelings” and “Princess Mi Amore Cadenza”. “That’s. Me,” I realized, “And–…Oh, no, YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT I’VE BEEN A CHANGELING THIS WHOLE TIME OF MY LIFE WITH YOUR BODY THAT YOU WERE ONCE A CHANGELING??????!!!!!”
“That was once my body,” Mephiles said, “BUT, YOU HAVE MY BODY AND YOU’VE BEEN PART OF THE EXPERIMENT THAT CAUSED ME TO BE THIS WAY!!!!” “What experiment,” I asked, but then, Ben Zane realized what he meant. “Wait, this is the lab that I was in during my visions,” he exclaimed, “IT’S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW!!!!” “Good,” Dark Diamond replied, “Because it’s time I tell you all the truth about you, Cadence, Ben Zane, Mephiles, and MYSELF!! Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?”

Hello, I’m The Detective Librarian and as you can tell, here’s ANOTHER poster for my upcoming fan-fic, “Life of Darkness”/focusing on Luna’s history. This time, it’s a character poster about the Princess of the Night/Princess Celestia’s younger sister, Luna/Nightmare Moon. I made this last month and it includes Luna looking serious and the words on the top, “How Shall I Be As Good As My Older Sister Who Shines Better Than ME???!!!!” It takes place in a dark hallway in the Castle of the Two Sisters, which is at the bottom of the poster with a moon and an eye on it.
PLOT SYNOPSIS: One thousand years ago, when the land of Equestria was still under construction, Princess Celestia and her younger sister, Luna, have just been coronated as the Princesses/rulers of the country. However, as Celestia receives all of the attention, Luna starts to have signs of envy and loneliness and feels unimportant. But, it soon changes when somepony else tempts her into joining her into bringing down Celestia and changing Equestria into a new nation and with a new identity that may cause Luna to have anxiety. But, as time progresses, things go from bad to worse when her anger continues and it may not only harm Equestria and her older sister, Celestia, but it would only bring light to her Life of Darkness.

Hello, I’m The Detective Librarian and boy, I can’t believe that Season 5 of “MLP: FIM” is almost coming to an end, even for (definitely) one of the best seasons of the series thus far that has been receiving so many good episodes, characters, writing, and songs, EVEN THE MORALS AND ANIMATION HAS BEEN STEPPING UP A LOT!!!!! Although, some of the episodes were weak and okay, THIS SEASON HAS BEEN A HUMONGOUS IMPROVEMENT OF THE LAST TWO SEASONS AND TODAY’S EPISODE IS REALLY ONE OF THIS SEASON’S BEST EPISODES SO FAR!!!! What is called you may ask, it’s “The Mane Attraction”. This episode first came out yesterday on November 21, 2015, showed a animatic song at San Diego Comic Con last summer (which I’ll show you later), and it features special guest star, Lena Hall, as one of our new characters named Countess Coloratura/Rara, who is well-known for being in a reboot of the Broadway musical known as “Ludwig and the Angry Inch”. Well, at least the last time a popular singer that guest starred in an episode was Weird Al (Yankovic), who played as Cheese Sandwich and he was an interesting character. So, how will Lena Hall turn this episode around? You’ll see in a moment, let’s dive right into “The Mane Attraction”!
So, the episode starts off at Sweet Apple Acres, where Applejack, the rest of her friends/the Mane Six, and other ponies in Ponyville are setting up a stage and preparing stuff for the upcoming “Helping Hooves Music Festival”. It’s a music festival that happening tomorrow night and it will have one of the most well-known pop stars of Equestria (not Sapphire Shores), Countess Coloratura (played by Lena Hall), attend the event. However, AJ doesn’t know who the Countess is, even though she recalls having a childhood friend named “Coloratura” from their Friendship Camp. She nicknamed her “Rara” because of her long fancy name and they spent so much time together during their childhood at Friendship Camp, such as do a tug-of-war, and help do a song that they wrote called “Equestria, The Land I Love”.:
Why does this song, remind me of Evelyn Cool’s “The Other Side of the World” that will be shown in Enterprisingengine93’s “Enterprising Engines” series Season 2 finale, “Self-Fulfilling Prophecy”? It’s probably just the tone of the song and how the guitar is played in the background and Evelyn’s singing voice sounding similar to Rara’s younger singing voice. See them for yourself and you’ll get what I mean!:
Anyways, Rara/Coloratura had a cutie mark with a star and a bunch of music notes on it that magically glowed, whenever she sang in a beautiful way. Sounds like it will beat other songs like “Frozen’s” “Let It Go”–
ELSA (SINGING): “LET IT GOO!!! LET IT GOO-
THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN: SHUT UP AND GET BACK TO THE STORY, ALREADY!!!! GET BACK TO THE STORY!!!!….Thank you.
As I was saying, after Applejack’s flashback and explanation to her friends and the audience about Rara, Rara/Countess Coloratura arrives with her dancers and (much to AJ’s surprise) her appearance is a ponified version of Lady Gaga (and possibly Miley Cyrus). As Applejack reunites with Rara–I mean, Countess Coloratura, she is given a Hoovsie (instead of a fake kissie from a famous singer/pop star) and she does the same process to her fans/other background characters that the fans want to see (like Lyra Heartstrings), much to (of course) AJ’s dismay, even her boss/manager, Svengallop, congratulates her for being a popular pop singer with fake hoovsies. However, Svengallop is also a pompous, threatening (secretly), and stuck-up dunderhead and it’s shown when he criticizes Pinkie Pie for the way she set up the refreshments and preparations for the festival. Wow, this guy might be the next Donald Trump, but is not involved in the Presidential Election and only in a ponified version of Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga with the voice of Lena Hall. So, who gives a crap?! But, I digress, Applejack realizes that this isn’t the Rara that she knew when she was a filly, but Rarity assures her that she’ll be blown away by the Countess’ performance that will be occurring right now, as well as one of the catchiest non-Lady Gaga songs EVER MADE IN REAL LIFE AND THE SERIES!!!:
As you can tell, this song is SO catchy that it’s already gonna get stuck in your head for the rest of your life, until Lord knows when. But (again), I digress, Rarity was as good as her word because AJ couldn’t believe over the flashy-seizure alert song she just witnessed. But, Svengallop only praises the effects he created and the performance (except for the Countess’ singing), giving out more evidence to the audience that he’s still Donald Trump-ponified or other pompous schmucks that everybody knows about. By now, Coloratura wants to rest in her trailer, until she’s reminded by Pinkie Pie that she has to attend a meeting with the fillies at the Ponyville Schoolhouse (including the CMC, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle) and Svengallop wants to cancel it. But, AJ and Countess, of course, refuse to take his suggestion and decide to partake in the event, anyway. During the School fillies meeting, AJ sees a private conversation between Svengallop and Pinkie, where more of Svengallop’s rudeness strikes again when he demands Pinkie to get some oats from Appleloosa and 500 apples by 24 hours or else Coloratura will get kicked out of the Festival.:

THE DETECTIVE LIBRARIAN:……………Anyways, back to the story!
Applejack decides to talk to Coloratura about Svengallop and the way he makes his orders, but Coloratura doesn’t believe her!:
This causes a major argument between the two childhood friends, since Coloratura believes that AJ is just jealous (just like another episode of the series we’ve known for a long time) and Coloratura immediately dismisses AJ. After this, AJ discusses about Svengallop and his actions, when she and Pinkie are busy peeling apples for the festival, which gives her an idea on how to expose Svengallop and his threats towards ponies. She tells Coloratura about her plan and the steps to make the plan work go into action, when Coloratura tells Svengallop that she has made her final decision to cancel her contest with the School fillies, much to his delight. He decides to have a private conversation with Pinkie once again to discuss the changes he’ll make, since Coloratura made her decision, but unbeknownst to him, Twilight Sparkle (“Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle”) uses her magic to record the entire thing like a camera or an iPhone. The discussion follows Svengallop, once again, threatening Pinkie of not making her deliveries, or else, you get the rest. When he gets back-on-stage to tell Coloratura the adjustments he’s planning to make, Twilight exposes his true colors by using her magic like a projector to show off the entire conversation made earlier, much to Coloratura’s dismay.
They immediately argue on the EVERYTHING Svengallop’s been planning this entire time, “Manipulate Her Into Something Else Back in Manehattan, In Order to Cancel the School Ponies’ Contest”!!!! Now that that annoying-high-and-mighty scumbag is gone, Coloratura doesn’t have a manager to help her for the Music Festival tonight, but the show (OF, FREAKING, COURSE) must go on!!! However, she has major anxiety about the show when she gets fashioned by Rarity, later that night, but AJ teaches her that the REAL “Perk of Friendship” is Rara just staying close to their real self, meaning that she has to “be herself”. This gives her the courage to turn her back to her real self and we get the one song that we’ve ALL been waiting for, ever since it was shown at SDCC, the song sung by Lena Hall and one of the best songs in the entire show, “The Magic Inside of Me”/”I Am Just A Pony”!!!! Wanna hear it, GO AHEAD, SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!! IT WILL SURELY GIVE YOU THE FEELS OF EMOTIONALNESS!!!!!!:
We were all anticipating for this moment to come, see this song fully animated and it LOOKS MUCH BETTER ANIMATED, RATHER THAN IN UNANIMATED!!!!! <:’) After this (AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL SONG I’VE EVER SEEN), Coloratura/Rara tells everybody the lesson she learned about staying true to herself and she returns the favor of AJ helping her see the error of her ways, by having Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle/the CMC to sing with her the reprise of the “Equestria, The Land I Love”/The Evelyn Cool Style Song, while AJ concludes the song and this episode by hitting the triangle instrument with her hoof (as seen during the flashback) and giving each other a friendship hug.
So, folks….WHAT CAN I SAY???!!! IT’S ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND FANTASTIC!!!! This episode was a really solid improvement over the last few episodes, the plot was really good, the songs were amazing, the animation is still going very strong, Countess Coloratura/Rara was a really good addition to the series and Lena Hall was a really good choice for her because her singing voice is SO BEAUTIFUL AND PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST SINGING VOICES I’VE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, AND THE MORAL WAS REALLY WELL DONE: “Just Stay True to Yourself and It Can Lead You Into Great Accomplishments That You Would Never Want to Fail At!! You’re Fine Just the Way You Are!!!!!” It really gave me the feels of happiness and sadness at the same time and I also forgot to mention that this is one of the writers of this episode and the series, Amy Keating Roger’s, last episode of the series and what she gave us in the end was REALLY WORTH WAITING FOR AND WATCHING!!!!!!! Amy Keating Rogers, thank you for giving us such really wonderful episodes of the series and this was a HUGE love-and-farewell letter to fans of the show and you. We’re sure going to miss you, after this.
Overall, I really loved this episode and if you’re a Lena Hall fan or a fan of the show, this episode is for you!! This leaves me into giving it a 9/10 or maybe even a 9.5/10 for such a really pleasant episode that we’ve all been waiting for all those months. After Ben Zane mumbled in his unconscious state about an “explosion”, he continued. “I also see…A lab, with something inside..Two things inside.” “What are they”, I asked, realizing that it could mean something. “It’s a creature, like a changeling, or something, and what looks a little bit like..You, Mi Amore Cadenza”, replied Ben, before he woke up and gasped, while breathing heavily. “I think he’s having an asthma attack,” said Twilight, “I’ll go and see if there’s an inhaler to calm him down and breathe properly.” While Twilight went to find Ben’s inhaler, I immediately realized that what Ben Zane had just said was more than just memories, it felt like that I was involved in it somehow. Soon, Ben calmed down with his inhaler, “Thank you, Princess Twilight”, he said, with a little soft smile across his face.
“The pleasure’s all mine, but, just call me ‘your majesty’, if you will”, she replied, “Anyways, what were those things you saw when you passed out and had an asthma attack?” “Well,” Ben Zane began, “Ever since I woke up in a hospital for some reason, I began to have these ‘migraines’ about some strange visions or images that looked like myself and they feel like memories.” “Did they take place on on an island that isn’t on the Equestrian map called ‘the Isle of Menn'”, I asked, wanting to find answers. “I–I don’t know and can’t seem to remember”, replied Ben, “When I woke up from the hospital room, my doctors said I had amnesia and somepony found me lying unconscious under a coma, last year, after the Shadow Kingdom was destroyed.” “How come the doctors didn’t do any tests on you to get your memory back”, asked Twilight. “The doctors said that it would be too complicated and my brain had a severe injury,” he responded, “But, I luckily didn’t have head trauma and ever since that day, I’ve not only been studying strange creatures and spells of Equestria that no pony has ever found out before, I’ve been trying to secretly find answers about who I really am. Even I stare at my cutie mark and wonder why I got a bunch of chemical bottles as my talent.”
“You could’ve been a scientist or a chemist,” I replied, “Probably at a laboratory, a hospital, a doctor’s office, or something. Unlike Lab #29, the one place where I was created from and want to find answers on why it was forbidden from me, after all this time. I might even wonder if I’m the pony that I’m meant to be, wondering about his or herself that was born to rule the Crystal Empire and spread love across Equestria, if the past was hard to forget, forever.” “Relax, Cadence,” said Twilight, “I know this is hard for you and for the both of us, but, you have to ‘Let It Go’, alright. Just like you said, ‘The Past is the Past’.” I then took a deep breath to calm down, before speaking up, “Sorry, Twilight. I guess I’m a little doubtful about myself and I am desperate of why Shining Armor and my two aunts had to die, which made me go back to the many dark memories that I will never forget.”
“I understand why,” said Twilight, “It was because of the way Dark Diamond treated you, how he abandoned you on that island, and you nearly dying in the middle of the ocean before you were adopted.” Suddenly, Ben Zane interrupted, “Did you say ‘Dark Diamond’,” he asked. “Uh, yes,” Twilight said, “Why?” “I might have heard that name before I lost my memory. Do you know him?” “Yes, I do,” I replied, “He was my father at the Isle of Menn and never told me about himself and why he abandoned me and prevented me from going inside a room I created in called Lab #29 and I want to really know why he trained me to do something that I don’t know about. He might still be alive and working for King Mephiles because I thought I saw him last year, before he disappeared.”
“Did he look like the stallion that I keep seeing in my visions,” he asked. “Yes, he does,” I responded, “We might even connect all the missing pieces to figure out what’s really going on and why Mephiles wants to steal souls of ponies to be more powerful.” But, after that was said, the room began to get colder with fog outside and inside. “Oh, good Luna, no,” realized Twilight, “He’s back!!” “Well, speak of the devil”, said Ben Zane. “Let’s go, NOW,” I snapped, “Before Mephiles comes and steals OUR souls.” We then ran outside Ben Zane’s hut and noticed that King Mephiles was coming right behind us, meaning that if we attempted to go past or fly over him, we would die right away.
“Look,” I cried, “There’s a boat that we can use it to row and get away from Mephiles and onto the ocean!! “Wouldn’t that make things worse,” Ben Zane asked. “We can’t surrender now,” I replied, “We have to find out and stop the spies right away, escaping from them might be our only chance right now. If we don’t move, then we’re done for!!” So, that’s what we did, went on the boat, almost immediately and attempted to get away from Mephiles’ dark spirit on the ocean. “You foals think that you can escape from me by using a small transportation vehicle, instead of fighting against ME,” taunted Mephiles, “HAH, HOW SILLY OF YOU TO REALIZE THAT YOU CAN NOT ONNLY RUN, BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE!!!! I HAVE BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN EVER BEFORE AND CELESTIA, LUNA, SHINING ARMOR, AND THOSE OTHER PONIES ON THE TRAIN AREN’T MY ONLY VICTIMS THUS FAR!!!”
“THERE ARE OTHERS,” He boomed, before showing us the image of one of the most shocking things me and Twilight have ever witnessed in our entire lives. The image showed the dead bodies of everybody in Twilight’s hometown, Ponyville, including her friends, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Spike the Dragon, and Pinkie Pie. “WHAT, NO,” exclaimed Twilight in complete shock, “It–It CAN’T BE!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FRIENDS AND MY HOMETOWN?????!!!!!! I’LL MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SOUL GETS BURNED TO CRISPS, UNTIL YOU BRING MY BROTHER, MENTOR, AND MOST OF ALL, MY FRIENDS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” By now, Twilight was really enraged by Mephiles’ dark actions and wanted to stop him, once and for all, by flying towards him and attempting to fire at him with all her might, but to no avail.
Mephiles chuckled an evil chuckle, “Heh, heh, heh, foolish, foolish Princess,” he said, “You thought that your magic was powerful enough to defeat Equestria’s new leader, ME, ‘KING MEPHILES’, WHO IS NOW READY TO TAKE YOUR LIFE AND SOUL, INSIDE MINE!!!!!!” As Twilight was just creating a giant blast of her magic, this lead Mephiles getting his only chance to use his powers to suck away her soul and into his, becoming more powerful than ever. “NO,” I yelled, “NO, TWILIGHT!! NOO!!!!!” “COME ON, YOUR MAJESTY,” interrupted Ben Zane, “We’re in the middle of a crisis and I know it’s hard for you. But, I’m sorry, let’s move!” So, I had to sadly agree with Ben Zane that it was more important to make it out alive, rather than waste time, mourning over the loss of my sister-in-law, while I helped row the boat across the ocean and into the fog ahead.
But, we came across a violent maelstrom, just like when I was younger. “The ocean’s too rough,” I exclaimed, “We might turn back or fly ahead, I’ll carry you!!” “Sorry, your majesty,” objected Ben Zane, “But, we can’t! From what I heard, the clouds in the sky are poisonous, probably from Mephiles’ dark magic from my research!! I think it’s best that we stay on the boat, instead of fly!!!” However, things would go from bad to worse when the ocean began to turn dark black and the darkness would surround and fall right at us. “HANG ON,” Ben Zane shouted, just as Mephiles’ dark shadows fell on-top of us, caused the boat to get sunk, and have us get swept away by the waves of the destructive maelstrom in the middle of the ocean to never be seen again.
During the train ride to the old Vancouver Port, I was still wondering if my father, Dark Diamond, was still alive and may have been a spy for King Mephiles’ and his dark army. But, I decided to take my mind off of it when I talked to Twilight and Shining Armor. “Twilight,” I asked, “How did you know about this pony that will help us understand what’s been going on and where he or she resides at? What about Zecora in her hut at the Everfree Forest back at Ponyville?” “Well, I’ve heard about him in a pamphlet about him being a doctor as well as a professor of Equestrian history and spells that have never been covered into reality, until now,” replied Twilight, “But, Zecora’s out of town and she may have been already dead by now by Mephiles’ soul-stealing abilities and Celestia-knows, she could in danger by now because Mephiles could be out for revenge or even worse!” “Don’t worry, Twiley,” said Shining Armor, “We’ll be fine as long as we stick together and make sure nothing gets in our way and I’ll do everything I can to protect you two from Mephiles’ dark soul, like I did last time.” Twilight thought for a moment, before speaking up, “Hmm, maybe you’re right, it’s probably because of the way Celestia and Luna were killed and my friends could be in grave danger as well.”
“We’ll see,” I said, still feeling doubtful that Twilight’s friends would make it out alive. Just then, the train immediately stopped in the middle of a wooden bridge to a deep river at the bottom of the ravine below. We all jerked forward by surprise. “WHAT WAS THAT,” exclaimed Shining, “WHY HAVE WE STOPPED?!” Even all the other passengers complained about the train stopping in the middle of the bridge, except for one pony who was unicorn, but with its horn half-broken and with an eye-patch like a pirate, a black mane and tail, and a few chemicals as his cutie mark. “Psst,” he whispered, “Come here and hide, he’s back to harm us all.” We followed the stranger’s advice and hid behind the baggage doors, where he was waiting for us.
As we stayed put, the entire coach of the train began to feel cold with ice, fog, and freezing rain surrounding it. “Brrrr”, we all shivered, nervously in the eerily cold environment. “You better shut up, he’s here, King Mephiles’ soul is around us and will kill you if you don’t shut up.” Sure enough, the Pony was right because Mephiles began to look at the other passengers with his cold, demon eyes. “You foolish ponies thought that I would no longer existed when I died,” He said in a spooky tone, “BUT. YOU WERE WRONG, WHEN THE PONY DIES, THE SPIRIT…LIVES ON!!!! THAT PONY OR SHOULD I SAY, SOMETHING ELSE WAS ME, NOW THAT I WILL NEVER REST AND MOVE ON, I WILL GET WHAT I WANT, THE ONE THING THAT I HAD FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE, UNTIL, SHE STOLE IT FROM ME AND NEVER GAVE IT BACK AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE ONE THING THAT I WANT WILL NEVER BE STOLEN FROM ME AGAIN!!!!!!!!!”
“She” stole it, I thought, Stole what? “NOW, I SHALL DO THE ONE THING THAT CAN HELP ME GAIN IT BACK,” continued Mephiles, “BY TAKING THIS FROM YOU!!!!” After that, the same magic urge that weakened Celestia back at Canterlot was cast on all the passengers inside the train, including us. “We–We have to go, NOW,” said the Stranger. “I think I know how to solve the problem,” said Twilight, confidently, before using her teleportation spell to teleport us to outside the train, just in time before Mephiles used his dark abilities to suck all of the passengers’, including the train’s crew, spirits, killing them in the process and growing stronger than ever before. “Who are you and how do you know us,” I asked, confused. “I’ve heard about you three and seen you all save Equestria many times, including you, Princess Twilight,” said the Stranger, making Twilight blush.
“Anyways, it appears I haven’t introduced myself, I can’t find my real identity, yet, but most ponies call me ‘Ben Zane'”, went on Ben Zane, “But, there’s no time for chit-chatting yet, we have to move, NOW!!!” As Ben Zane shouted it, we immediately ran, once King Mephiles chased after us. We were only a few feet towards the train station that was in the Vancouver Port that Ben Zane was supposed to meet us there, where Shining Armor immediately stopped and went back to face King Mephiles. “Shining Armor, what are you doing, GO,” I yelled. “He’s holding off Mephiles”, explained Twilight, “WE DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME!! WE NEED TO FOLLOW BEN TO THE STATION, LET’S GO, NOW!!!!” I reluctantly agreed to follow Twilight and Ben Zane to the Vancouver Train Station, just before Mephiles sadly killed Shining Armor by absorbing his soul.
We all gasped in horror and trauma, as Shining Armor collapsed to the ground, lifeless. “NOT–NOT MY SHINING ARMOR,” I screamed. “NOT MY B.B.B.F.F.,” Twilight yelled back. “Come on,” Ben Zane interrupted, “We can’t let Mephiles kill us too. Let’s go!” We followed Ben Zane again, weeping tears from our eyes, and into an old house near the bay. “I–I think I can distract him,” said Twilight, nearly sobbing. Just like that, Twilight used a light spell to blind Mephiles and drive him away from us.
Ben Zane looked out at the door, nobody was there. “I think he’s gone,” he said, “But, it’s not over yet. He might even steal more ponies’ ghosts and it may cause him to be too powerful enough for Equestria to handle and would be impossible to defeat. Unless…” “Unless what”, I asked. “Unless, if he has something that could defeat him”, responded Ben Zane, “I think I have it in my notes.” He pulled out a book, containing information about supernatural objects and connections with spirits of the dead.
“What’s that”, asked Twilight. “That, my Princess, is a The Alcrox Amulet”, began Ben Zane, “It’s an amulet that controls a spirit and whenever it gets destroyed, the spirit dies. But, if any attempt to destroy it, it will result in either a counterattack or even, Certain DEATH. It was created by Starswirl the Bearded to keep spirits controlled, before they could go on a rampage and may abuse the Amulet’s power to control Equestria and capture other souls to gain more power than we could possibly imagine.” “Then, somepony must have stolen the Amulet or even created a new one to make sure that Mephiles will be protected by the Amulet and will continue his revenge Scott-free”, I realized. “Then, it’s up to us to figure out a way to stop him, without destroying it and even killing us or attacked by it and help avenge my mentor, Celestia, and my Big Brother”, said Twilight, “However, we may need to figure out some things, before we strike at the appropriate time.” “And figure out more about what he said earlier,” I said, “I’m getting a sudden urge that he may want something more than souls, but, something ELSE!!”
“Like what”, asked Twilight. “I don’t know,” I replied, “I really don’t know.” Suddenly, Ben Zane began to put his hoof on his head, while groaning in pain. “Ben,” I asked, “What’s wrong?!” But, it was already too late, Ben Zane passed out, forcing me and Twilight to carry him into his bed and find out what caused him to collapse, unconscious. “I see–I see,” he began, “I see a blonde pony, running towards me.. I see a–an explosion.”
As I was looking outside the window of one of the Castle windows and laying on the bed in the bedroom where Celestia slept at, Twilight soon found me, still looking very concerned. “Cadence,” she asked, “Are you okay?” “No..I’m not,” I responded in a depressed tone. “It’s just that, Aunt Celestia was the only one who took care of me, after what happened many moons ago.” “What do you mean,” asked Twilight, “I know that Princess Celestia took care of you, before Mephiles killed her. She was my mentor when I was her star-student, before becoming my current Alicorn Princess of Friendship state. But, I’ve always wondered, how come Celestia adopted you when you were younger and when you were still my foal-sitter?”
I looked up, realizing that I was hiding something from my family, friends, and sister-in-law and I had to tell the truth about it. “Twilight, there’s something that I have to tell you, but, we must keep it a secret, until it’s right to do so,” I said, “I’ve let you and everypony else in the dark for a LONG, LONG time and I never wanted to remember it and I thought it was best to put it behind me. Until, now, when Celestia and Luna’s lives were both taken away, it led me into remembering many tragic memories that I never wanted to share to anyone or anything.” “Really,” asked Twilight. “Really,” I replied,”But, I feel really uncomfortable talking about it.” “Come on, Cadence,” Twilight said, “I’m your sister-in-law, you can tell me anything and I won’t tell Shining Armor about, not yet, I promise.” I began to feel unsure about telling my sister-in-law, Twilight Sparkle/the Princess of Friendship, the one secret that I never wanted to reveal until now, but I knew that I needed to share my feelings, otherwise, it would make things worse for my life.
“Alright,” I began, “Fine, it’s time I tell you the truth about myself,” before taking a deep breath and telling Twilight my story. “It all started about 30 moons ago on an island that was off the coast of Equestria and was not marked on the map because it was surrounded by dark mist and it was called ‘The Isle of Menn’. There was a lab located in the mountains of the Isle of Menn near a forest with bare trees at the bottom of the slope and it was the place where I was born. I woke up for the first time inside a laboratory, where I met the one stallion that I thought he created me named Dark Diamond. Dark Diamond was a very cold-hearted father towards me because when I grew as the moons went by, he would abuse me and train me.”
“Why would he train you,” Twilight asked. “Well,” I continued, “He claimed that he training me was the only key to make me a fighter to fight against his and my enemies of Equestria. But, whenever I did something wrong, such as trying to ask him questions about myself and attempt to go inside the same lab where I was born, he would abuse me and scold me very severely. Dark Diamond never let me inside the lab called ‘Lab #29’ because he told me that it was off-limits and had very ‘confidential’ information that would never be revealed to me and the public. I prayed and hoped that Dark Diamond would become a better father someday, but, I was wrong. Things would only get worse when one day, I was only nine years old and I was busy getting ready for the day, until I saw Dark Diamond pack up his belongings with a serious look on his face. ‘Where are you going, father,” I asked him.”
I paused with tears coming out of my eyes. “And then what happened,” asked Twilight. “He…He replied, ‘Because you are a very disobedient daughter who never follows my rules and has failed the many training lessons that I’ve been giving you after all this time!! But, it would only make my life worse than before because when I reached the docks, I hopped onto a raft, but I couldn’t find a life-jacket, so I went without one.”
“As I floated across the ocean,” I went on, “I came across a very powerful and dangerous maelstrom. The waves caused the raft to swerve in all directions and when it tipped over, I fell into the ocean and passed out. Luckily, I didn’t drown and when I woke up, I found a Royal Guard from Canterlot on a beach because he was on a vacation from his royal duties. ‘Dear sweet, Celestia’, he exclaimed, ‘There’s a pony on the beach! I must help her and figure out why she ended up here in the first place!! I was gasping and coughing when I woke up and said, ‘Ugh, where am I’, and told the Guard what happened when I was taken to the emergency room. The Guard decided to take care of me and tell Celestia about it when he got back to Canterlot, where Celesita took care of me like an ‘aunt’.”
“So, that’s why you never told us about your life,” realized Twilight, “It must have been really awful for you to live and suffer with Dark Diamond. But, is it possible that he may still be out there?” “I don’t know,” I responded, “But, I feel like that he may come back because I remember when I was brainwashed by King Mephiles last year and when you cast that spell to put me back to normal, I was waking up, when I saw a pony that looked like Dark Diamond, but with gray hair and a cloak on top of him. Then, it hit me, Dark Diamond may or may not still be out there, somewhere.” “I can’t believe that you were born on an Island that was not on the Equestrian map and it’s really possible that Dark Diamond could still be alive and maybe a spy for King Mephiles,” then Twilight stopped and gasped with a realization that hit her. “He must be the mysterious pony in the cloak that attacked Celestia and my B.B.B.F.F. this morning!!!”
“Good Luna, you’re right, Twilight,” I said in a state of shock, “But, why?” “We’ll find out, soon enough,” said Twilight, “But, it’s best that we don’t let anyone else, including my brother, about this and speaking of, we better get back to him and tell him that we have to figure out on what really happened that day.” “Actually,” I said, “I think it’s best that we tell my husband about this, right now.” “NO,” shouted Twilight, “Think about it, if you told Shining Armor about it, it might be a touchy subject and I think it’s best that we give him a little bit of a nutshell about our theory and tell him later about the whole thing.” I looked at Twilight, still feeling like that it was best to let my husband about my problems, but I knew that she did have valid points about my past being a very touchy subject that would make me feel unpleasant about myself. “Alright,” I agreed, begrudgingly, “Fine, we’ll tell him soon.”
“Now that that’s settled, let’s get back to my brother and tell him the news,” said Twilight and we left the bedroom and gave Shining Armor a few of the details. “Well then,” he said, “Let’s go and figure out who that cloaked figure is and find out on why Mephiles stole Celestia and Luna’s souls.” “But, there’s a problem,” Twilight objected, “It’s not in any of my books at my Castle library and we may want to find other answers.” Then she had an idea come to her head. “I think I have an idea on who will give us some answers,” she explained, “Follow me!” Shining and I looked confused, “Where are we going, Twiley,” asked Shining. “I’ll tell you later,” Twilight replied and we followed her on the train to an old port in Vancouver.

Hello, I’m The Detective Librarian and as you can tell, here’s ANOTHER poster I made earlier this year for my upcoming fan-fic, after “PC&TAS”, “Life of Darkness”, which is my own version on how Princess Luna became Nightmare Moon. As you can tell, it features Princess Luna, looking worried in a night sky, the moon with the eye-shape, Princess Celestia and Luna looking out with Queen Malecia’s evil eyes, and the words from top to bottom “You Will Never Be Free To Face The Fears Of the One Image You See In the Very Future Of Your Life of Darkness”. Please note that it was an early development, before I decided to make the plot a little bit different.
PLOT SYNOPSIS: One thousand years ago, when the land of Equestria was still under construction, Princess Celestia and her younger sister, Luna, have just been coronated as the Princesses/rulers of the country. However, as Celestia receives all of the attention, Luna starts to have signs of envy and loneliness and feels unimportant. But, it soon changes when somepony else tempts her into joining her into bringing down Celestia and changing Equestria into a new nation and with a new identity that may cause Luna to have anxiety. But, as time progresses, things go from bad to worse when her anger continues and it may not only harm Equestria and her older sister, Celestia, but it would only bring light to her Life of Darkness.
Before I go, here’s ANOTHER soundtrack preview of the Official Soundtrack List/the soundtrack I would use for the production. But, you’ll wait and see, later. 😉 So, Nightmare Moon demands Twilight to tell her about the time-traveling spell Starlight created or else, they’ll be sentenced to get thrown in the dungeon. Twilight now tells her about how it’s run, including the Map as a time machine, before she explains about the events of Nightmare Moon in her own time and uses the Map to have her and Spike escape and figure out another way to prevent Starlight from continuing her evil scheme. But, as they attempt to stop her with a crystal spell, Starlight breaks out and continues her plan, while sending Twilight and Spike into different futures of other villains of the series, such as Tirek, Discord (OF COURSE), and the Flim Flam Brothers/The “Cheap Skate” Brothers. Wow, I’m surprise they didn’t include Gilda, Trixie, Sunset Shimmer, and the Dazzlings/Sirens (from “Rainbow Rocks”).
